EFF Review Roundup 9-15-17

Intellectual Mercenary Show
at Side Street Studio Arts Theater

This may sound like a joke but it's not: a Latino, an Indian, and an African step into a theater and then...These three stand-up comedians share stories about their lives, their culture, and what means to laugh at the absurdity of the world. Next show: Sat. 3pm. www.elginfringefestival.com

Sonder Productions presents "The Fainting Room"
at Side Street Studio Arts Theater

The doctor will see you now. So begins this show that takes you back in time when woman's hysteria had only one cure. Through a series of characters wonderfully executed we are taken on a journey as the patient finds her own cure. It's an orgiastic encounter with wit, silliness, song, finding self confidence and a cello. It should not be missed. Next shows: Sat. 12noon and 9pm. www.elginfringefestival.com

This large cast show puts on a full hour of stage combat, rapping, and political time travel all while skewering Andrew Jackson. Next shows: Sat. 1:30pm and 6pm.
